@xw35 yes. I think the chapman stick is an important element, if not foundation, of the King Crimson sound scape. I was, at first, saying like gmccaber, whats with the chapman crap all the time? But it sounds so right with everything that is going on.

@gmccaber .. wait what? In my opinion, that smooth bass-line from the stick is just as important for the wholeness of the song as everything else. To my ears it would sound weird and not at all as good without it..

remember vinyl and how it used to wear out? i wore out the three releases from this line-up on cd. played them til they glitched and skipped. Discipline - Beat - Three of a Perfect Pair. don't listen to them a lot of late, but still gives me the shivers when i revisit this stuff. get into the groove and zen-out
