Jess and Rory get ready to go out to dinner when Logan shows up. He joins them, and I personally think he is lucky that Jess didn't kick his butt. Jess then argues with Rory, making her face that she has become different.

  • He wouldn't have been able to write a book without her, and without Jess, she wouldn't have figured out that going out with Logan, and doing all that other crap, is not her.

I love this conversation because whenever they talk they are just totally and utterly honest with one another. "I know you. I know you better than anyone."

    They belong together.

  • logan and dean were both too posessive...Jess was the only one who understood the independence of a Gilmore girl, he was a screw up young, but than he really came to his true potential,

  • Jess actually cared enough about Rory to ask the question 'what's going on with you?" Logan and Dean focused on the relationship and the whole 'us' therefore ignoring Rory as an individual. Wasn't Jess supposed to show up in the later seasons and end up with Rory?

  • I never really had a problem with Logan until he was an ass to Jess, and then cheating on Rory. Rory was ment to be with Jess, even the creator said so in an interview. Jess was created to be her other half. Jess messed up but he was just a teenager. He got it together and became a better, grown up version of the boy that Rory had always loved. He still loved her all those years later. I wish Milo had come back at the end just to see them together or at least the possibility of it.

  • @XshamosasX It was more down to the bad writing in season 7 tbh. Think back to s5 logan, this is not the guy who would have given rory an ultimatum to marry him. I agree with it being right that she didn't marry him because of her career. Rory and Logan's relationship was up and down like any normal relationship, it was real and as much as I love Jess he was far too self-destructive in seasons 3 and 4. Much preferred him in s6, shame it was a case of too little too late.

  • @ArjunArohiLover i loved them too :)

  • AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT ABSOLUTLEY LOVED LOGAN WITH RORY!?!?!? i mean they are so adorable together, and he was only being "unfriendly" lets call it, because he was jealous, how would you feel to come back and find your gf with a guy, then you find out he's her ex.

  • @sarasr18 chance, and Logan and Rory's relationship lasted for like three seasons. But, Logan gave her an ultimatum that was just completely unacceptable for someone who was that young, and I'm glad she said no. Jess never would've made her choose like that, because he understood her dreams and her ambitions - hence the whole getting her back to Yale thing. And yes, I guess we'll agree to disagree.

  • @sarasr18 didn't just come back all perfect - he changed FOR her. You could already see him changing in season 4, when he decided he was ready, but when she rejected him, it made him want to be a better person, and he wrote that book because of her. She always told him she could do more, and he did. He always believed her, too. & in s7, Logan was holding her back from her dreams. I mean first of all, you can't really compare the two relationships just because Jess and Rory never got a second

  • @sarasr18 Are you kidding? Jess's actions in s6 were completely unselfish. It wasn't about him at all. And he wasn't "just the catalyst". That scene was intentional - out of all the people, ONLY JESS could get through to her. Not Lorelai. His coming back, all put together and mature, when she was a mess, wasn't a coincidence. She even acted like her old dorky, book-loving self in her scenes with Jess in s6. And, writing a book isn't excusing what he did, but the fact is that he grew up. And he

  • I think this is a great scene, because when Jess first arrives he fights guy just because he thinks he's a jerk. Now Logan is just being a complete dick, and Jess decides to leave - I don't think he would have done that for anyone else then Rory. It's good how he makes her see what has happened to her.

  • @XshamosasX As for Rory and Dean, I always thought Jess's actions just spurned Rory on, into believing that Dean was the dependable, trustworthy guy who wouldn't hurt her like Jess had.

Yeah, Jess changed but so did Logan and I liked seeing the process of his growth. I didn't see that with Jess, he went away and then came back perfect and she's supposed to welcome him back, no questions asked? As for getting back into Yale, idt that's just his work, he's just the catalyst.
