Frankly, I don't know how to give Lessig the support that I know he deserves.

I'm excited by the rootstriker ideas given here and in Lessig's other videos. Though I'm sure Lessig knows better than me that the balancing of these interests and incentives is nearly impossible to effect with any sort of predictable result of what will really happen. So as a gut feeling I'm can't hop aboard with the proposed amendment not because I don't like the idea, but because nobody knows if it will work. At least someone is thinking about this stuff and trying to propose solutions.
