  • These Berliner Philharmoniker snippets on YouTube are great but I'd like to hear the whole piece, not just 2 or 3 minutes. Where can I download the whole performances?

Note that I say "hear". I'm into the music, not the theatrics. No videos, thank-you, I just want to listen to the music on my hone.

I checked the EMI website and they don't seem to have any MP3 downloads and the DGG website reflects a state of utter confusion. I don't see how things can be so difficult.

    Any ideas?

  • @richxx4 For contractual reasons, we may show the complete performances only as video streams on our own platform, the Digital Concert Hall.

  • where is Guy, the usual concertmaster? I haven't seen him in your recent videos :(

  • @BBRENTTAGHAPP This is a mere coincidence. Luckily, he is still with the orchestra and performs regularly.

  • 1:29 tells you what is the best orchestra on the face of the earth

  • Sorry ah I disliked it by complete accident T_T Don't hate me!!!! SHAKING TOO MUCH.

  • The glissando at 0:27 sends shivers down my spine every time.

  • I love this movement. :)

  • @asianbeavercleaver After all, having several horns all play top Cs is a great idea. I'm sure there are some interesting versions of Mahler 5 out there...

  • @Haeronthegreat If my C's were that nasty I'd get them off my face too.
