Ehh... I kinda hate to tell you this but Megaman was ALWAYS supposed to 'cute.' He's a KID.

And Megaman X? Ummm...The X series is basically Megaman merged with Blade Runner. BAD ASS.

But I totally agree with you on what you said at the start of this video and near the end. Modern gaming is basically pretty things and no substance. It's bullshit. Kids need to play games like this and get their asses kicked to learn what REAL gaming is about.

Your words starting at 6:55 weren't a rant, it was total truth that every gamer should hear. EA, Activision/Blizzard, and their ilk...they used to have soul and real gaming passion back in the day, now it's all exactly as you said, just one big corporate shitfest that is blinding the kids these days with graphics over substance. Lately, even games that look photorealistic are getting criticized for looking bad. Thank you for reviewing MM9, Nico. I am proud to favorite this video. =)

i recently downloaded the first megaman game from the wii store and i really like it :) even thoug im also 21 i never really played any side scroling games besides the one on my gameboy and ocasionly at my cousin i only had a nintendo 64 when i was 10

i think gaming is going into a really bad direction, i really want to go back to the basics, it's a fucking game, we don't want story we don't care about graphics, we want gameplay!!!

i still play mega man games and i love em and i loved bionic commando rearmed because they DID improved the game.

and well im 15 years old :)
