PNWR 2005 GP38 pulls a unit train of 25 loaded covered hoppers from the Venell Farms Railroad Company (VFRC) on 2011-January-14.

Sorry the footage isn't more steady... left the tripod at home!

  • Yep, the VFRC hired Rick Franklin Corp to rehab the track. Not only did they rehabilitate all the track that the VFRC purchased, but also improved the PNWR track from just south of Orchard siding north to the bridge over the Marys River. I think they even did a little work on the bridge, too.  That all happened back around July 2010.

  • Originally I thought you were on crack, and these were actually empty store cars going back to the UP... Then I watched the video in full screen. Definitly loads. How the bloody hell does the track stand up to this? Did the A&E really make it that much nicer???
