Dolphin encouter with Rose, Discovery Cove Orlando 5/2003 (trainer for a day)

My Trainer for A day trip to Discovery Cove Orlando back in May 2003. Spent the day with Rose the dolphin. This is video shot entirely by Discovery Cove staff. (old VHS) DC is a great experience for any dolphin lover out there. Going back in May 09

I'm planning a trip there next year and the dilemma is: do i go for the trainer for a day package or just the normal swim experience. (I appreciate my wording here is rubbish - sorry). Does anyone know how the two packages compare? Is the TFaD worth the money?

@msstarchild1510 Yes, especially now, you get signifgantly more swim time like 2-3 times more, i mean the dolphin tow alone which is tfad exclusive alone is worth it let alone all the other goodies ya get

was at seaworld yesterday, the shows have lost a lot of magic for me, i've done most fowhat they do, a lot closer up then just watching hehe

Dolphins don't drink the water nessisarily, thier digestive system provides the nessicary water molocules.

I went to discovery cove a couple of weeks back, and my dolphin (Huch) is Rose's boyfriend. :P

I went there this May (2011) it was great I swam with the dolphins!

Actually, they get it from the fish and squid they're fed :) I work with dolphins.

I was there in the holidays. It was awesome :) As we touched to rub her side she pressed her head against my stomach. Was so cute. ^^

@Avlesa You had Jennie the dolphin as well too? We had her and omfg we thought she was just hilarious:) That was the best experience of my life though, swimming with her:)My friends and I couldnt stop smiling, especially my one friend, this was her dream come true, swimming with dolphins and kissing them and stuff. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I definitly wanna go back

i went there in august 10. best experience of the entire holiday, i am from a very cold place (england) so that holiday was amazing, disney and universal could not beat discovery cove, although it is a bit boring towards the end of the day, when you run out of things to do. there is so much to do there, its a tropical paradise, i would recommend going to florida just to go there :) i swam with tyler x
