Via Rail should get this back on the CPR route thru Revelstoke, Field, etc, but that damn private tour co., Rocky Mt.-ear is preventing that from happening, as they have HUGE political clout. Yes, this is wrong in a country such as Canada, but politicians can be bought, as they can anywhere! VERY sad this train runs on CN routing, rather than CP, where it belongs!
