A remote controlled buggy with a chassis made with axles and angle connectors, resulting in a strong low weight structure. It has power functions, return to center steering and rear wheel drive. Some say The Stig is driving it.

A few notes:
I'm not planning on making instructions for this one. Please see the photos in the Brickshelf folder mentioned above;
The steering part is a x928cx1 - Technic Axle Joiner Rectangular with Spring. You may achieve the same effect using rubber bands;
The parts came from official LEGO sets and from a site called Bricklink were you can find hundreds of stores selling all the parts you may need;
This is not an official LEGO set. You can't buy it anywhere;
The song is The Hero Waits by 009 Sound System, available with AudioSwap.

  • by the way...did you think at some kind of suspension for the buggy?

  • It was supposed to have suspension. However, I abandoned that idea in order to keep the car as simple and light as possible.

  • whats the ackerman affect?

  • More info can be found at Wikipedia. Search for Ackermann steering geometry.

  • Where you buy the white returncenter ( ? ) for stering.

  • You may find that part at Bricklink. Search for x928cx1.

    Before you buy, carefully read the Terms of Service and individual Store Policies.
