Rape Crisis Scotland 'Not Ever' campaign

Cue: Rape Crisis Scotland have launched the nation's first ever TV advert aimed at tackling women blaming attitudes to rape. The 'Not Ever' campaign addresses claims that women who drink and dress provocatively are contributing to their chances of being raped. Rachael Simpson reports

I think it's interesting how mainly with rape or a claim from a woman, the immediate reaction is 'WELL LOTS OF WOMEN LIE ABOUT THESE THINGS!' and they're generally treated as if they are lying. if they manage to get someone to believe them, then 'well, deserved it for ___insert some bullshit 'reason' someone could deserve rape___'
