I lost my cat on August 9, 2006. Amazing that I found this video just 4 years and 2 days later.

I came across the video of Grover just by chance, but it touched my heart deeply. I too have experienced the pain of losing a daschund who was with me for a very long time. Thanks for bringing my memories back again.

Grover had a long life and was an amazing cat. By mid 2007 he was quite ill, and when it became clear that he was suffering significantly without hope of improvement, on the advice of everyone, we had the vet come to our house and put Grover to sleep in our living room. He is buried in our backyard, where we have a memorial marker and memorial salal plant. It took us a year and a half before we were ready for a new cat. In late March 2009 we adopted Teddy.
