PIANISTS BEWARE, DO NOT TRY TO COVER THIS SONG AT HOME. (Side effects: Your fingers might fall off, or your brain might explode; another side effect that is common is smashing your piano in frustration of not being able to copy the speed Akami has)
Title: Voyage into a cage....
Artist: Akami
Circle: Everfades

No, seriously, lol.
Snake: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!??"
Oh, but no, if you think this song is done with a computer you are wrong, 100% wrong. Here is a video of Akami performing this live, with me on the first row watching (obvious lie):

Bloody spider fingers... One things for sure, after watching that video, never again will I think the word "impossible" fits into the boundaries of Touhou.
The hilarious part is that half of Merlin's followers where expecting me to upload this song after I announced the piano compilation, I mean, it's not surprising, this song is the very reason I decided to start this compilation. This is, hands down, the most insane piano tune a human being can accomplish with, wait did I say human being? Ahahaha, that was a joke, Akami is beyond us humans. He has achieved (and most probably has gone over) that which we call, GODHOOD, like a lot of our fellow Touhou arrangers. Pity he doesn't release more Touhou stuff, I'd go head over heels for a solo album by him.
As 9/10s of the people who heard Voyage 1969 the first time I too got my mind blown by the piano work on it, yes yes, I know it's probably ZUN's fastest piano song, most insane most inter-planetary, most... well you get the point. I believe the reason there aren't many arranges of this theme is because, well it's very hard to cover it, believe me, the piano is impossible to follow with the human brain. (BLOODY ZUN!!)
Piano compilation ENDING (or not?) Find out in the next update!!
Tune in next time for more awesomeness, and of course, thanks for watching!! (Yes, I owe you guys some snowy songs, I haven't forgotten, and I have to upload the whole compilation for you guys)

Like every other commenter, I was kinda nonplussed for the first minute as he readied us for the surprise, but I could hardly believe the speed of the main portion. It actually wasn't until 1:20 that I realized something was wrong: Those notes were coming WAY TOO FAST. There's just enough hesitation and inconsistency in places (especially the slow beginning, ironically) to convicne me that it was performed by a human, and enough speed to try to convince me that maybe it wasn't.

Some people just like songs fast, don't feel so down-beat or amazed that you feel you have to match that speed or your not a good pianist. If anyone thinks that, they don't understand the true essence of music.
True beauty comes from how you play your instrument. A good pianist isn't always a fast player, a good pianist is someone who plays with the heart.
True that was incredibly fast playing, which I admire... but it didn't catch real emotion. It blew you away before you could truly enjoy it
