First of all its not Akram, its Acklam, as in Acklam Grange Secondary School.
Secondly, spell the town properly yeah, its Middlesbrough.

Stainsby Secondary School in Middlesbrough (notice the correct spelling) is now known as Acklam Grange School and Chris if you see this a new build is on its way!
Chris is an old boy of St.Mary's College Boys Grammar School and this is still in existence but now,sadly, as a Sixth Form College!
Many of Chris's songs are about his early life in his hometown:will he return to his old haunts? Who knows?

It refers to Stainsby Girls School (now called Akram or something like that) in his home town of Middlesborough . I believe his wife went to the school which is why he dedicated this song to her.
