    As a young man...ok a dopey teen...I did not like Bert Convy.Matter of fact,I said in Macy's(loudly).."You know who's a d---?Bert Convy!" People looked at me..but then I actually grew to like him.May he rest in peace

    The guy in the song sounds like this guy who used to live in the rundown house down the street from me when I was a kid. He rode a black Harley chopper and all the neighbors were afraid of him.
