After a few attempts with a demonology spec, affliction is the way to go!
Long and repetitive fight as I focused on survival over damage. But not so hard, just have to keep your pet and yourself alive.

When the boss is below 40% of his hp you have a certain amount of threat by having done x damage. If you reset your threat at this point the boss doesn't have enough hp to do x damage again therefore you will not overaggro anymore.

@Rekijan So what's your point? As I said, it was not an issue anyway. Also your math is wrong, you forgot to take into account the healing aggro from Health Funnel (0.5 threat per heal) which generates a lot of aggro in this fight.

If you soulshatter sub 40% you dont have to worry about aggro anymore.

@Spygnesy Well you don't have to get this boss down to 0% as he has a final phase where he just targets wisps. Also your voidwalker has a high treat ability that should be able to out aggro the health funnel.
