  • "Islam" in arabic means submission. Which is a general word. "The submission" or "Al-Islam" is the name of religion.

  • @dawahonangelswings : wa'alaikumus salaam, perhaps those who are just starting to learn will have mastered the arabic letters before moving on to this level. Inshaa Allaah. Transliteration does not capture the proper makhaarij.
