This isn't a how-to video. You didn't even explain what performance vs. continuity means. It's fine to be lighthearted and whatnot, but PLEASE be more informative. At the very least, change the category if your video is intended to be purely entertainment. If you want an idea for a video, I'd love to see an instructional film on the actual details of shooting a scene (how to shoot multiple angles efficiently, whilst keeping in mind continuity, sound, and the final edit). It'd be a youtube 1st.

Rendering and encoding for YouTube is the bain of my video making process. All my videos end up being done different in an effort to find some way to make them look good on YouTube. An episode devoted to rendering and encoding on several different applications would be awesome!

Aha! This was the episode Edward D. Wood Jr. missed; no wonder Plan 9 From Outer Space was such a shitty discontinuous movie, hehe.

YouTube is totally insane and stupid sometimes. If you upload at too high of a resolution or bitrate, they seem to sometimes compress it even more than usual (which KINDA makes sense). You just gotta find a good mid ground.

Heh, we're using 640x480 baseline .mp4 rendered around 7k max bitrate and 4 average. Each episode differs a little, as we use the same file for our iTunes feed and want to keep the file size low.
i was jus wondering what kind of camera you shot this episode wih.. it really looks amazing

@JohnnyGlider Thanks, this was with our old Sony EX1. We've since upgraded to a Canon 5D Mark II and 7D.
