@evilresidence4 there WERE norse warriors. but the vikings, at least up untill about the late 9th century were not warriors. they were pirates. they killed defenseless villagers and monks, raped the women, stole anything not tied down, and ran away before the military could engage them. not untill the brief period of empire building did they take on any threat, on forign soil, that could represent a reasonable challange. at home, there was much fair battle, but "vikings"=raiders
