I don't mean to sound horrible or anything but you don't have to play the entire song on the E string, it really is much easier if you spread it around the strings more. Also, if your gonna pluck the strings try to get a more fluent alternating between your fingers to make it sound smoother. Just a bit of friendly advice from bassist to bassist, as i recently learnt this song cause my band are now doing it.
