I've got a feeling that Dinah Shore is more impressed by Peggy Lee than vice versa.

Both great though. Better than the leading ladies of today.

It's funny how we can sometimes see ghosts where none are likely to dwell. Neither of the two moments that you point out show any mistakes on the part of either singer.

@rlholo oh yeah i see now, there's something similar at 1:01 where she reverts to "Starlight" - BUt the fact that I didn't notice something was missing to you pointed it out def shows a good performer who can carry it seamlessly.

@namchild I was thinking of 0:28 but it seems they bumped into each other later on a few times too. Seems like about 2:29 you can see a big smile come over Dinah's face... like she's thinking: "Holy crap, we made it through the unrehearsed section - now let's kick it up a notch and nail the ending... Old-School Live TV... not much time to rehearse... they just kind of had to go out there and make it happen. Something fun about that; kind of like reality TV only with talented people ;-)
