  • @doomie61 Hey just my opinion, i have no idea if idling or leaving in gear uses more fuel, nor am i a mechanical expert in anyway. However when it comes to their cars im pretty sure Porsche knows what they are doing...

  • its so stupid to disengage clutch...

  • Sooooooo a gearbox with neutral.... Who would have thought of that?

Not hating though, this is an achievement for a dual-clutch box.

  • so they took the SRM in the 370z and made it 10 times better

  • @ClaritySWE so true! also you need fuel to idle and you don't if you leave it in gear with no gas

  • Nice commercial, if that's what it is, but if I'm in a 911, I'm in it for the power and the speed. I just hope you can switch it off if you want to. If I want economy, I will drive a Ford Fusion. Hey folks, I love the 911.

  • this is my method, the best for semaphore or slope.

  • Also, a modern engine uses more fuel when coasting out of gear (to prevent the engine from stalling) than if you coast in gear. Odd.

  • Does this mean the car automatically kills the revs on the overrun? Thats a shame from a noise point of view.

  • if ur buying a porsche like that i highly you could care less about consumption...
