Demi: No its not. My mission was to get rid of the boss. Then Emily committed suicide to make it look like we are done. Now I have to go back because they wont expect it.
Selena: How do you know their not gonna expect it.
Demi: Its all perfectly worked out.
Selena: Tell me everything.
Demi: Why do you want to know so badly?
Selena: Im curious. When I was still working for my dad, there was no plan they just said ok get this person and get rid of that one. How you did it was up to you.
Demi: Ok. No wonder they failed all the time.
Selena: Yeah.
Demi: Ok. Well Emily is not dead.
Selena: You just said she was.
Demi: That was part of the plan. We planned that so they would think were done.
Selena: How?
Demi: Emily is the only one that actually has contact with the real boss. They think that she is the boss. She went back, and told them we think she is dead. They believed her because it was all over the news that she drove off a bridge and I got hit by a truck.
Selena: How was it all over the news if shes not really dead?
Demi: One of our other agents is undercover as a news reporter. We filmed it before she went over last year.
Selena: If she went last year why did you only just go now?
Demi: She had to build a reputation to get in the position she is now. With everything we planned she didnt kill anyone. But they think she did. Now Im going back so we can finish it of.
Selena: How many agents are working on this?
Demi: 24.
Selena: Thats a lot.
Demi: I know. Its the most agents that have ever worked on a project together. Only the best ones got it.
Selena: Is Joe part of it?
Demi: No.
Selena: But hes good right.
Demi: Yeah but Its mostly girls working on it.
Selena: How come only girls?
Demi: Its just easier for girls to get what they want without blowing their cover. There are a few guys but they are not really part of the mission they are there incase something goes wrong. These people are dangerous.
Selena: How long are you gonna be away?
Demi: Depends, a month at least.
Selena: Does Joe know?
Demi: No. He thinks I have memory loss. He cant know hell blow it.
Selena: He knows your leaving right?
Demi: No. We planned something to make him lose his temper and do something stupid. Now he thinks Im mad at him. The chief is gonna tell him I left to go live with someone else.
Selena: Thats so sad.
Demi: Just part of my job. I just hope he doesnt do anything stupid because he thinks I hate him.
*one week later*
Joe: (walks into the house) Hello Im home.
Chief: Hi.
Joe: Where is Demi? Demi!
Chief: Shes not here.
Joe: Is she out with Selena?
Selena: (walks down the stairs) Hey. Youre home.
Joe: You let her go out alone?!
Chief: No.
Joe: Then where is she?
Chief: She left.
Joe: What?
Chief: Im sorry.
Joe: Where did she go?
Chief: She went to live with someone else.
Joe: What? Why?
Chief: (looks down)
Joe: She is afraid Ill hurt her.
Selena: (puts her hand on his shoulder) Im sorry.
Joe: (mad at himself and really close to tears) Its not your fault. (goes to his room)
Selena: Is he gonna be ok? (hears stuff breaking)
Chief: I hope so.
*with Joe*
Joe: (laying on his bed then he sees a piece of paper and picks it up) A note from Demi? (reads it)
*the note*
Dear Joe,
Im sorry but I had to leave. Dont worry about me Im safe. Please dont do anything stupid. Dont hurt yourself because of me. Im going to come back. I promise. I just dont know when.
Demi.
Joe: Why did you have to forget? Why? (tears in his eyes)
IS JOE GONNA BE OK? HOW WILL THE MISSION GO? WILL SHE COME BACK?
