Hunter Solo Kael'Thas 25

My first solo kill of Kael'Thas Sunstrider 25man.

Had issues with my pet not doing what I told it to at the end of phase 3, which is why you see me waste a minute and not kill Telonicus in time :)

@M4xima To be able to do this now you need to have pretty good gear. Before back when he did it hunters were able to do a lot more damage with less gear. I was not able to do it until i had about a 360 ilvl

@fuzznutsjr Think I did this in around 350 Ilvl and MM damage output hasn't been altered since very much. More gear makes this easier ofc though, otherwise just need to be good at maximising your damage.

wow my damage beats your damage.. but i still dont understand i can NOT finish phase 2 fast ... KT res all advisors while at least 3-4 weapons are still up...

anything you can tell me to do ?

@M4xima yeah i did this back in like feb/march time so was still in half blues, and not really anything special other then burn them down 1 by 1 using DPS cds and if possible interrupt the mace since if it heals it slows you down. Leave shield until last since it takes reduced damage. If any weapons are alive when you go into the next phase they all gain a big hp boost so they are harder to kill then.

what is constantly healing your pet and how did you set up your UI

@xR3DST4Rx it is specced into healing itself when it uses growl but mainly just mend pet.

@fuzznutsjr Thats not gear fault, is your fault... And btw nothing changed on hunters damage, at least nothing relevant to this fight... This can be made in blues

You must stay in range of your pet, if you FD while your pet is disoriented by the big AoE thing he does you will get aggro and then it will reset.

@atezai Hit you need 8% for raid bosses, 4% for pvp and I think something like 6 or 7 for heroics. crit only has a cap at 100% assuming you are hit capped, and mastery has no limit that I know of. Haste has no real cap, however there is various percentages of haste at which hunters tend to aim for and that basically just depends on your gear how your rotation changes. Check elitist jerks forums for more in depth talk on that, otherwise its more DPS then mastery in general :)
