First person view of my touch and go today. I ran into some audio problems and know now to:

1) Use a shielded stereo cross-over cable (I was picking up radio stations)

2) Less volume output on the police scanner next time

3) Leave my work black berry in the truck next time, it was also adding to the radio interference on the audio cross over cable.

Flying was great, but foo, I really don't like right closed traffic. Runway 35, wind 360 @ 4KT and lots of pesky choppers today creating the rotor wash that all fixed wing aircraft pilots just love.

  • And I agree with the EC boys clogging up the west traffic! Gave them a hard time at the Roadhouse on 20 a few weeks ago. Haha

  • Flew outa there in 00,01 with Howells, 172s 65hr block rate, what's that sport go'in for?

  • Some Track IR would help...lol!

  • Love it! I'm just learning in a Pipersport and this is a really great help seeing how someone else does it. There are several good pattern videos on youtube, other than the sound this is really one of the best! Yes the sound is an issue but you let everyone know what was going on. I really enjoyed it and would like to see you do some more in this aircraft! Thanks very much for the video.

  • Very cool!!
