Lord Bruticus sits down with a Tie pilot that does a lot more than flying Tie fighters, and a past guest from episode 8 returns in person, as "the great divide" between Star Trek and Star Wars fandom is discussed. At least The Brutal One tried to talk about it...
The Dark Side Chats is a self-produced series by Lord Bruticus, the host of the show. Episodes are made on occasion, not on a regular schedule.
This show is dedicated to exploring the world of Star Wars geekdom, and why there is such fervor after more three decades of Star Wars in the movies, and now also on television. After all, there are simple fans, and then there are those that proudly refer to themselves as geeks.
By interviewing fellow geeks, and adding a bit of variety of his own, Lord Bruticus takes the viewer into the realm of the Star Wars geek from a darker, yet comedic point of view. Join The Brutal One as he chats and explores the geekier side of Star Wars fandom.
YOU CAN BE A GUEST ON THE SHOW! If you are a Star Wars geek and want to show off your collection, your costume, or if you simply have something to say about the Star Wars movies (or any combination of the aforementioned), and would like to be a guest on The Dark Side Chats, then simply send Lord Bruticus an email, at:
darthbruticus@aim.com
Interviews are conducted over the telephone. If you are located within Orange County, California, then Lord Bruticus is also willing to go on location, and interview you in person! Interviews are brief, lasting only a few minutes, and are usually limited to five or six questions.
Persons being interviewed over the phone must provide at least one photograph of themselves, and photos of the subject matter being discussed. Persons under the age of eighteen must also have parental consent. The claims and statements made by persons being interviewed on The Dark Side Chats are their own, and the show assumes no responsibility for the total validity of statements made by guests. It is assumed at the time of interview, be it in person or by telephone, that all statements and claims being made are genuine.
From time to time, there is an occasional giveaway contest on the show. The rules are simple: You must be over 18 years old, or have parental permission to participate if you are younger. To enter, simply send an email to the address above, indicating the name you want to be recognized as (such as Lord Bruticus), what city and state you are from (or country if you are from outside of the United States), and the address you want the item shipped to if you are the winner. Also, be sure to indicate which giveaway (as indicated in the corresponding episode) you are entering in the subject line of your email. Email entries for all giveaway contests must be received by 12:01 A.M. U.S. Pacific time, on the deadline date indicated for the giveaway being announced on the show. All giveaway contests on the show are open to anyone, and prizes will be shipped anywhere in the world.

This is fun , but Can we start talking about the Grand Ultimate Blu-ray set? And what we'd like to see in it perhaps? Or mabie more about the Live action show. Or mabie about Star Wars in 3D or rumors of another movie? And actual Lucasfilm projects. Just asking.

The main purpose of TDSC is to explore fandom itself, by speaking directly with Star Wars fans themselves. If there is a fan out there that wants to talk about those things, then of course we will. However, I usually let the person being interviewed discuss what they prefer to talk about, relating to Star Wars.

Love the episode great work as always! And as for the question.I think its just because if someone insults the movies and that person takes its very hard. For example someone saying something out of line about your life. Then that fan would get back at them for insulting him causing a major conflict.Myself,I dont mind because,I respect other peoples likes for movies mainly.

Great answer! You'd think that people would respect other's opinions, but some people take others way too seriously...
