Thank you for the excellent fountain review from two who know from experience! Wesley and Buttercup will not settle for less! I've been thinking about fountain for my cats but I know there are drawbacks wit keeping it clean,slime free etc. and i don't think I like the idea of water being recycled and reuse even for a day! But,I saw an amazingly beautiful one at a shelter! It was a "stone" fountain with water hay actually flowed downward mimicking a water fall!

@Suzan4B that's what I thought, but these furballs were totally disinterested in simple water bowls. turn on a sink though, and they LOVE drinking from it. so we got this and the drinkwell platinum, and the flowing water of it seems to attract them the same. Definitely have to swap the water out weekly though for sure. :)

@Suzan4B yup, they drink from the Pioneer actually slightly more than the Drinkwell. They like to drink directly from the stream on the Platinum, but I think they don't actually get as much and just do it more for fun, heh.
