Had a Gibson Hummingbird couple months. Well made.Traded this for a Taylor 814ce. Wise. Two weeks ago traded a 414 for a 714cesd. Have a guy who is well know in Phoenix as a guitar tech (Atomic Guitar) and he did improve the Gibson. He builds his own guitars and does warranty work for both brands. Handed him the 714 and asked (I call him Sensei) what he thought. After 2 minutes he said, "I think you should take this home, Grasshopper, and PLAY THE SHIT OUT OF IT!" Similar comment on my 814.

I find no pickup or mic could capture the real sound of an acoustic guitar. Even my cheap yamaha sounds better than this video. You never know how good these guitars are unless you hear it live.

I'm 13 and I just started playing Guitar in September, My acoustic is a George Washburn. The George Washburn and my Dad's Yamaha are the only acoustics that I have ever played. Today, at Long & McQuade, I played a Gibson Hummingbird for the first time. I was amazed at the absolutely amazing sound and feel, along with an amazing design. This is truly the acoustic guitar of my dreams.
