When we discovered video mash-up artist John D. Boswell, aka melodysheep, on YouTube, we immediately wanted to work together. Turns out that he is a huge Mister Rogers Neighborhood fan, and was thrilled at the chance to pay tribute to one of our heroes. Both PBS and the Fred Rogers Company hope you like John's celebration of Fred Rogers' message.

This is the first in a series of PBS icons remixed.

My last name is actually Rogers.

So when I was younger and in kindergarten to elementary school, people used to call me Mr. Rogers, and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

I used to take offense to it.

But now I use it to my advantage, and I realized how cool it is to be called Mr. Rogers on a daily basis. So my Jazz Band T-Shirt has Mr. Rogers as my nickname.:)

I pretty much have lived my life remembering what this guy has said on his TV show. And I have to say, I live a very good life because of him.:)

Mr. Rogers felt like a savior sent from God himself to preach of the Lord and God for the modern day, WE MISS U MR. ROGERS!!!!;(

My brother is a Marine and had to go to war and take lives just to be able to come home. This song takes him to a place before all that. Me as well. It brings tears to both of or eyes. Who knew Mr. Rodgers had such and impact on us growing up. I love this dude. Did you know he was a Marine Corp Sniper before he became a pastor. He has his confirmed kills tattooed on his arms, hence the long sleves all the time.
