When we discovered video mash-up artist John D. Boswell, aka melodysheep, on YouTube, we immediately wanted to work together. Turns out that he is a huge Mister Rogers Neighborhood fan, and was thrilled at the chance to pay tribute to one of our heroes. Both PBS and the Fred Rogers Company hope you like John's celebration of Fred Rogers' message.

This is the first in a series of PBS icons remixed.

My last name is actually Rogers.

So when I was younger and in kindergarten to elementary school, people used to call me Mr. Rogers, and Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood.

I used to take offense to it.

But now I use it to my advantage, and I realized how cool it is to be called Mr. Rogers on a daily basis. So my Jazz Band T-Shirt has Mr. Rogers as my nickname.:)

I pretty much have lived my life remembering what this guy has said on his TV show. And I have to say, I live a very good life because of him.:)

How many people just wanted to give him a hug when u felt low and he sang his i like u the way u r song. I felt like that and still do today at 14. He is amazing and no one can replace his impact on children and people. He is on of a kind. :)

It makes me sad to think that there my never be anyone as pure and truly good as Fred Rogers ever again. Imagine if we were all as good as him.
