Song rocks, some hard rock band should pump this out as a cover.
They could only improve it little, the vocals can't be matched to doc.
Awesome song.

I always thought they should have gone to the U.K. where there was a chance their style could be understood, like ACDC did, instead of being twisted about in that turbine of shit and manipulation that is America. Just an opinion :)

@anyone4abeer I think both countries are tricky. Most oz-bands were trying their luck in the US because Americans were more open than the English. The English weren't into anything else but their own at the time - even US bands like the Cars got a tougher deal in the UK and Aussie group The Birthday Party stuggled earlier on in England simply because venues didn't want to have them on due to their nationality. Give America its due: The Divinyls, Oils, Men At Work, etc, got a better deal in US

@nzoz1979 Not only have you posted a treasury of Aussie music, but your comments always seem to be insightful and well supported. Kudos, mate.

@cobboGHS91 the Birthday Party did better in Germany, which doesn't have the jaundiced view of Australia like England has. The band found England very frustrating. The Angels did try Europe, but sensibly focused more on the US (who were playing Angels songs on radio). Ray Davies of the Kinks sabotaged the Angels performance when they supported the Kinks on a US tour... and guess where he comes from?
