Listening to this is making me want to breath some herbal air, dust of the Tolkien and see what Bilbo is up to.

AWESOME vintage video of the MBs! Thanks for posting!

@truckintim87 It is Mike Pinder who´s playing the mellotron! If you look carefully between 1:35 and 1:44, you can see him!

at start and around 2 minutes there is a few shots of a drummer that is not Graham Edge of The Moody Blues and 2nd time a young man with blonde hair too..Great clip of the Gypsy..which reminds me of the start the Isle of Wight festival dvd early on..Mike Pinder is there somewhere too..to the right and there is a keyboard mellotron shot in there..

where"s Mike Pinder when they recorded this video? That isn't him playing the mellotron/ keyboards on here!!

What a treat. History in the making.

LOVE the old stuff! Thank you!!!

Even a bad recording of the moody blues sounds better than most bands today- some can't even play any instruments. They think if they have a turntable and a microphone that that qualifies them as a musician....hahaha This band is perfect.

Obviously the tape from which this was recorded was warped. Justin's voice back then was magnificent. John was always (and continued to be) a bit "pitchy" when he did the high notes, but this is more so than normal. You can tell it's the tape because the flute sounds so awful, too! Not complaining, just explaining to those who are criticizing the vocals.
