Photographer Tamara Dean displays photographs she took during the decade following her high school graduation. The goal of her work, she says, is to provide insight into a small moment of interaction.

Tamara Dean and Dean Sewell are two of Australia's most highly respected photojournalists. Members of the Oculi photo collective, which Sewell co-founded in 2001, they work for Fairfax Media and are based in Sydney. Both Dean and Sewell have exhibited work in major Australian galleries such as the Art Gallery of NSW, the Australian Centre for Photography and are also held in many private collections.

Sewell was awarded first prize in the prestigious World Press Photo awards (Spot News Story category) for his work on the Tsunami aftermath in Indonesia. - Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Tamara Dean is a member of Oculi, a photographic collective. She works as a photojournalist for Fairfax Media and is based in Sydney.
