do you have to have all crowns on the previous level before fighting tabuu because i beat every dark character, but i went to the room and still wasn't able to fight him

Ya, this is the only one I haven't beaten for 100%. The Great Maze level on the bottom left. So by watching this will it help me out with what I'm trying to figure out?

no, you don't have to and the maximum completion you can get before fighting Tabuu is 96%, but anyways, no, you can fight him anytime as long as you have defeated every dark character
