wow! first time i have seen bill russell being sad, he always laughs that huge laugh of his!
but he put it perfectly, by saying that the award was bittersweet!
and it is very inpsiring to hear that he is still talking about the TEAM even when he is getting an individual award!

You deserve that trophy Bill. The man who has a record 11 N.B.A. championship rings. A record that speaks for itself. I had the pleasure of going to the Garden and watching you play fron 1963-1969 I wish I could have been there from 1957-1962 but I was too young.
