I guess some americans hate latinos cuz we look different and have different traditions,I don't know any americans that hate canadians cuz they look just as the same as any other american,look at how many famous canadians live and are famous in America,and the borders are practically open between Canada and Usa,the hate is mostly cuz the difference between us and them.

Great commentary, only imagine how ppl of Mexican descent feel. The African American movement was successful because they came together rich, poor, republican, democrat, etc. There's no fear among Hispanics rather there's no unity (eg. some agree w/ Rep anti-immigrant speech, our Hispanic ethnicities speak ill of each other rather than defend one another, 3rd generations r hateful toward 1st gen, etc.). @Kemiztri Nowadays many countries are becoming very diverse. People migrate in hopes to make a change in their lives. But, the United States is somewhat, different. If it weren't for immigrants, the USA wouldn't be what it is today. If you look at the countries you mentioned, majority of them are citizens from that country. You really don't see many Native Americans here in the USA. Likewise, this country will always be an immigrant country.

@Kemiztri Well, people from all over the world settle here in the USA. People may say what they want, yet, people from their own country migrate to the USA. We are just a nation, we are a united nation composed from countries from all over the world. Not all European Americans think alike. Racism exists in the entire world, not only in the USA.

Their parents have set them up for failure in the real world and that's sad. Life should be about learning about other people, cultures and beliefs not fighting over it. @SuperGunner36 I think maybe people in LA are more exposed to other cultures, are more diverse and understand the Latin community moreso than other areas of the US and that's why we, or I, am not racist towards ANYONE. It also starts at home and your parents having the common sense to not teach or expose their children to racism. I think eaching hate like this is abuse. Then again I also think eeryone has their own mind and should have the common sense to know it's wrong.
