Here we have the latest version of zeven os, based on a buntu backend but using xfce and the BeOS style, now for me i rather like it and it will not suit everybody but if you want something different but is stable this may be the one for you, and on the plus side because it is buntu based you may not get the feeling of crash as if you had got haiku..(even though i do love haiku).
but i will still recommend you all give haiku a go as im sure you will all like it..nuff said.

  • Btw. downloading and extracting the mp3 out of the Youtube Videos isn't illegal at least here in Germany :)

  • @llelectronics ta for that lez

  • DUDE!! How can you stay so happy( that can be a good thing, not complaining here, just looking/curious to see what's your magic trick so I can use it too :-) and like\recommend nearly every distro you come across?

  • @ApocalypticWinter the ones that you see are the ones that make it mate, for everyone you see there are 2-3 i have to dump as they are so bad, and every good distro has it's niche audience, and some to appeal to the masses.

    apple juice make me happy..lol

  • If you're reading the screen half the time; it is too much, even if you pronounce with the Cardinal's English. Brevis mmmMMMMmmm will be fine, especially if it lets you fit in explanations of the non-critical bits or a more differential diagnosis of e.g. the speed of the particular make of InkScape, inclusion of handy task gages, keenness to stay running, inclusion of a globally sensible typefaces etc. The legal aside's presence made no sense unless you get 20 quid from the ModerateMid Party...

  • @sneekylinux Yep ;)

  • btw, who cares if it's illegal? unless someone prosecutes me for it, i really can't couldn't care less. this whole world of copyright police and digital restrictions management (aka drm) disgusts me..

  • @llelectronics funny, i've uploaded a video that contains some music (and funny enough it's less than 30 seconds), and it says that it's owned by some abbreviation i don't care for,

and it's been blocked in germany.

now i know why the copyright gestapo blocked it.. they don't want you downloading it.

  • Downloading this immediately!!! I love the look and feel of Haiku....hopefully one day Haiku itself will be stable enough to use

  • nice distro, good review, thanks Sneeky
