i live in Bournemouth and have been to mary shelly's grave and its very nice as far as a lump of stone for the dead can be.

The monster refers to himself as 'Adam' as in the 'Adam' of Genisis.

'Remember, that I am thy creature; I ought to be thy Adam'. He 'ought' to be. But he is not. He is never named.
