A first year Ravensbourne Design For Interaction project.
The brief was to create a short documentary of a student's journey to university.
We decided to turn the idea into a small action movie, featuring a race between two students.
I directed and filmed as well as edited the main footage. Final Cut Pro was used to edit the footage.
The brief was challenging but our group's main success was turning an uninspiring subject into something exciting and enjoyable to watch.
The learning outcomes were met regardless of manipulating the brief as it was the skills with the camera and editing software that were important and less focus was put on the content.
