Not really - we are talking about Catholics in the pews and cloisters who support grave moral evils such as abortion, gay "marriage", contraception, divorce, fornication etc. etc. These are the people who are truly dangerous - not formal schismatics.

Sorry to in form the man in the video, but those who voted for Obama ( a total public promoter of abortion ) are excomunicated ipso facto even though the phony hierarchy won't do anything about it. So in fact NO Catholics voted for Obama.
Maybe the heretical USCCB could explain how the money they contributed to groups such as ACORN that promoted pro-abortion, pro-sodomite candidates.

Firstly, "ipso facto" is not the correct term.
Secondly, latae sententiae excommunication ONLY applies to those who PROCURE an abortion, NOT those who vote for a pro-abortion Catholic.

Many people have attempted to make this point before - but canon law does NOT contain provisions for latae sententiae excommunication for supporters of abortion, but rather those who procure it.
