Yay I finally covered metalcore, or whatever you want to call it... I'm not the first though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VFPBngzbj0
Haha, so thanks to eddiemendoz for inspiring me to do this one. :-)

By far the most challenging song I've covered. At some point I realized that I should act as a melodic instrument rather than try to imitate the rhythm guitar parts, so I followed the lead and keyboard parts instead. I love the breakdowns in this song and I hope I didn't take away their awesomeness by playing over them. :-)

Like with all my other covers, I did not use notation, and although I very well could write it all down, I'm far too lazy. ;-P Wait, do guitar tabs count as notation? Mm, they probably do. Useful site UG is...
I just listened to the song, picked out the parts I could follow off, figured out the notes, and improv-ed everywhere else. This is NOT a one take session, haha. There are in fact several layers in this piece, 1., because there are various harmonies throughout the song I didn't want to skip out and 2., because I never get it all right in one take anyway, haha. ;-P

For alto sax players who want to play this type of music I recommend songs in Drop D, because you get that powerful low B. Songs in Drop C or Drop B won't sound as heavy, because their 'primary' notes (A, and G# respectively) are in the middle of the sax's range.

So yeah, I put a lot of work into this one, hope you guys enjoy!
