@tigruana I have windows 7 on my pc, Cubase 5 rewired to ableton live 8,the best combo i ran across so far, cubase is my master i just right clicked on live 8 icon on my desktop, open properties then click compatibility, then change the setting to windows xp service pack 2 ? do you know that windows 7 has windows xp built inside. you didn't have to get rid of windows 7 for xp it's all one package now. get back to windows 7 if you can. since you have xp now just install live 8 it should rewire.

I think this is a sloppy tutorial since it doesn't show anything about the requirements needed to actually setup ReWire. When both programs are just installed it will take more than merely starting one up after the other. You really should have covered that part as well.

@tigruana Why dont you update to the newest version of Live its at Ableton now, it should solve that.

it doesnt work i have ableton 8.0.8 and cubase 5.2 but when i open ableton it say that no rewire is possible
