This hotel is great... was a birthday gift to me by my best friend... a wonderful introduction to Mexico, and the food was delicious, the lady that checked us in was great! Don't remember her name but she went above and beyond her call of duties to accommodate our group! Also the guy at the pool bar was awesome!!!!! Was a bit scared given the crime happening in Mexico, my husband and children were a little uneasy, but the hotel and shopping was fantastic! Also recommend the Lobster House, Great!

Figurative language not intended to be taken literally. According to the billboard ads they currently have a $99 deal for dinner and an overnight stay. I think all the recent Mexican Mafia murders are really hurting tourism there.

It is a really beautiful, somewhat exotic place just a Frisby-toss from San Diego, CA. Over the main entrance they have a stained glass window proclaiming, "Through this Door Have Passed the Most Beautiful Women in the World", referencing a time when the hotel was a favorite escape for silver screen beauties from Hollywood.
