Different Drum was composed by the great Michael Nesmith aka "Papa Nez" of MONKEES fame and made famous by Linda Ronstadt and The Stone Poneys in 1967. The original version of this song was recorded by the Greenbriar Boys and was included on their 1966 album, Better Late than Never!. I don't who actually sequenced this midi file however they did an incredible job of reproducing the Linda Ronstadt version. I produced this instrumental in Nuendo using VST intruments. Of course I had to use compression, limiting and EQ as needed like any normal studio would to make it sound good. I created a slideshow to pay tribute to Michael Nesmith and Linda Ronstadt.
