I have one of these. The camera doesn't work when the clock is plugged into the mains. This means you can't install it and then forget about it until there's an incident. You have to switch it off and recharge it daily. This makes it impractical as a security device.

you have to recharge them everyday. Why don't they make one with apermanent cord that plugs into the wall.

@TEAMPOLIZEIM5 Well "Watson" if you had noticed, the comment was made over a year ago so obviously tried it out when it arrived. The comment was made "Prior" to receiving the device as the seller had sent the instructions first via an email so was wondering back then if anyone had any proper instructions or if anyone had already tried it out... -_>
