On the 5th of FEB 2007, Lt. Watada was court martialed for refusing to fight an illegal war,and mentioning a disparaging word or two about Bush, when off duty and out of uniform. The first court martial ended in a mistrial. The Army failing the first time around, now wishes to throw double jeopardy to the wind, and try him again. Good luck Lt. Watada on the 9th of OCT 2007

I'm pleased to report the Army has finally dropped the 3 most serious charges it has filed against this brave young man. I'm rather sure they drop the two lesser charges as well.
