you know what this is like from 2006 so thats over twenty years of gnr gigs!! people know axl goes mental when people throw shit on stage and at him and then ends the gig! so why do people after over 20 odd years still do it???? they know hes a loose cannon so why do it?? they are just asking for the show to be stopped! and doesnt axl have the right to perform without being hit by things!?????!!!!????

Slash quit because Axl often getted of the stage, threated to leave the band if the band didnt sign a contract or something. Axl had a very hard childhood, i rly understand his anger.

@Vorail That's correct. The show you are talking about was the monsters of rock festival at Castle Donnington in 1988. I was near the front when GNR were playing and 2 fans were taken away on stretchers. We didn't find out that they had died untill after Iron Maidens set at the end of the evening.

Exactly. Axl cites Lemmy as giving him a lecture in 88 about "being responsible for what happens if you allow it to continue." Well, Axl's old way of handling was to tell the crowd, "We leave if anything else hits the stage, if you see someone throwing shit, beat the F out of em" and it seemed to work in 91-93, with the exception of Duff getting hit in San Fran, probably by a drunk Metallica fan. Just leaving means the douche who threw it wins.
