Friends, we are gathered together this morning here and in this park to bless and to witness the joining together of these two people, 2 and 1 in Christian marriage. ... 2 and 1 come this morning to give themselves to one another in this holy covanent.
... 2, will you have 1 to be your husband, to live together in holy marriage, to love and comfort him, to honor and keep him in sickness and in health and forsaking all others to be faithful to him so long as you both shall live? If so please say "I will." "I will." (Same for 1)

1 and 2 have chosen for their ceremony 2 very pertinent scripture passages. I'd like to share them with you, here, this morning. First from the 2nd chapter of The Song of Solomon. One of the most beautiful chapters in The Bible which talks about King Solomon as he speeks about how his wife has made an impact in his life and how he has decided to dedicate himself to her.
Song of Solomon 2:16
My lover is mine, and I am his.
And then from the 4th chapter of Eclesiasties:
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up.
Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone?
And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
These are the readings of God's Holy Word.
Marriage is a unique bond, it is a bond truely of two people coming together. ... I have been impressed by the love that you share. I have been impressed by the doting that you have for one another and the genuine concern that you have in your hearts. These 2 scripture passages, I think, really lend themselves well and eddify your lives till this moment. But just be aware that this is a beautiful time, but that there will be challenges that lie ahead: there will be times of concern, there will be times of challenge, there will be times when you say, "Why did I even do this?". And when you can look at eachother and despite your frustrations, despite even your anger, and you can say "This is the person who God has given me and I love them for that." you know that love has fully taken root in your life. May God bless your lives from this point on and may he bless your marriage.
Let us pray. Gracious and all-mighty God, we found ourselves once more in a beautiful place at a beautiful moment. As we hear the background noise of the birds and the stream, as we hear, Lord, life around us, we know that it is your plan that life continues. We acknowledge you as the creator and preserver of all life. We ask now that you may bless and sanctify with your Holy Spirit 2 and 1, who have come now to give themselves to eachother in holy marriage. Grant that they may exchange their vows to eachother in the strength of your steadfast love. Enable them to grow in love and peace with you and with one another in all their days, that they may reach out in concern and service to the world, with Jesus Christ our lord. Amen.
1's Vow:
You know what comes with me, the bad and the good.
This ceremony signifies what both of us have known for a long time,
You and I are husband and wife.
We became such through love,
And I will uphold everything that it entails.
I will be yours and only yours.
I will give you my hand in sickness and in health.

2's Vow:
1, I love you. I want to be with you always. I want to hold your hand and help you where the road is rough, when youre sick, when youre not feeling well. I want to wake up each morning with you. I want to hug you and kiss you every day and tell you how much I love you and only you. I want to make you happy more than anything else in the world. I love you so much, you are Mein Herz. I swear I will be with you, and only you forever.
... The ring is a special instrument which reminds of us the love which is shared. It is round, it has no beginning, it has no end, much like the love 2 and 1 now share with themselves.

Now that 2 and 1 have given themselves to eachother by the solemn vows, by the giving of and receiving of rings, I announce that they are husband and wife by the power of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Those who God have jointed together let no one tear asunder. 1 and 2, you may now seal your marriage with a kiss.
Bride and groom kiss twice. (The first kiss wasn't enough for the excited groom, who goes in for a second kiss.)
