Modified Moog Prodigy

This video shows my selfmodified Moog Prodigy Synthesizer. It is played by a little software step-sequencer (seq-303) on my windows-computer, together with a Doepfer MCV4 Midi-to-CV/Gate-Interface. One row of the sequencer controls the pitch, another row controls the cutoff-frequency of the filter. This little Moog is also shown in the german musicians-magazine "Keyboards" 09/2006. On the magazines added DVD you can find another audio-example and some samples I`ve recorded.

Yes, it was signed in the end of the 1990s, as I have met Bob Moog in Nürnberg/Germany. It´s long ago and the Prodigy is not longer in my property, because I´m not longer into making music. I have sold all my analog stuff 2 or 3 years ago.

Thats tight! I just bought a Prodigy for $600 perfect condition. How much money total did you put into those mods?? I love the new pitch / mod wheels.

Hi. It`s not that much, because I`ve build all these mods by myself. Maybe 100,- dollars I think - maximum. But it`s a few years ago as I have done all these mods. The first mods I have done on it 11 or 12 years ago. Regards Heiko

Just had a CV mod done on my Prodigy, thinking about the Doepfer as my Midi converter...is it easy to set up? Just want to hook it up to my MMT8 and get on with it...
