David Attenborough presents the amazing lyre bird, which mimics the calls of other birds - and chainsaws and camera shutters - in this video clip from The Life of Birds. This clever creature is one of the most impressive and funny in nature, with unbelievable sounds to match the beautiful pictures. From the BBC.

  • @Somaya76 Yes, it did hear these urban sounds. The chainsaw and the camera are not that far away in Australia. The rest of your post is a fairy tale.

  • @Somaya76 allah is a bird?! lol

  • Actually , it dosnt mimic, as it didnt hear this urban sounds, but the truth that all the sounds on the earth is found in the wholemess awareness ,it created by Allah, and God manefistated them through this BIRD , as the story of the earth is written and finished , it's stored in the awareness in the cosmic,,,,this Bird didnt hear all these sound before...Somaya Soliman

  • @s0n152 They can fly but usually only do so for short distances and at low altitude, not far off the ground. I've never seen or heard of one sitting in a tree or flying over treetops.

  • Can lyrebirds fly? I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't they are a metre tall

  • thanks v nice !!
