  • Newport bus still has still got them in service usually on 3,4 and 5

  • Harrogate Coach Travel / Connexionbuses use Striders on their X70 Between Wetherby and Harrogate. These were good buses as they were chuckable unlike what's replaced them.

  • @chickens012 yes some remain on driver training duties i saaw one in seacroft it ws good to hear the distinctive roaring sound again

  • they could fly once on a boston spa school bus im told the b 28 a strider was used because the usual volvo olympian royale had broken down and on the m1 motorway it flew at the speed of many antelopes

  • not all hope is lost first still use some for driver training duties

  • you can see me driving 61116 top bus!

  • is there any survivors left or in preservation they were nice buses

cardiff bus did have them and volia has some where i am and newport bus haves them.

  • Probably the best buses around, hopefully will be buying one, as not all went to PVS Barnsley :'(

  • so sad :( 5*

  • any bus deserves a place in preservation
